BRUNO G. VALENCIA

Give me some hope

Our senses are the windows through which we create links with our surrounding world in order to build the mind structures we call reality. Fortunately, we also build our imagination, the place where we can play with no other limits than our creativity.

The colours come from light so we could easily affirm that our mind games are mainly light games. Of course there are also smells, touches, sounds… but light is the big brother of all of them.

Bruno G. Valencia plays with light and memories to create his personal world full of characters between dreams and the ordinary life. His latest series is called Downtown train and it’s the search of the bright side of life in the darkest places. His images are sad at first sight, but there’s always some hope in them, even a kind of harmony.  He’s able to transmit a whole story just capturing an instant and that makes his Downtown train the perfect vehicle to understand the places where media seem not to exist.
